Planning & Zoning

Zoning

To inquire about the zoning of a particular property located within the city limits, please complete a Zoning Verification Form and send it via email to Kate Whalley (katewhalley@robertsdale.org). All zoning inquiries must be submitted in writing. Please note that a live map is not available at this time, and zoning verifications will not be provided verbally. To check if your property is within the Robertsdale city limits, use the Baldwin County Parcel Viewer. Select “City Limits” in the filter options on the left side of the screen. You can search for your property by address, parcel number, or PIN.

Comprehensive Plan Update

The City of Robertsdale is updating its Comprehensive Plan.  A Comprehensive Plan is intended to act as a "roadmap" to develop strategies and actions that will address issues regarding land use, future growth and development, housing, public facilities (buildings & utilities), parks & open spaces, community services and transportation (vehicular & pedestrian).

Click Here for more information and how you can be a part of this Comprehensive Plan Update.

Forms & Applications

Each application must be submitted along with a copy of the property deed. If you, the applicant, are not the property owner, you must also include an agent authorization form signed by the property owner. Additionally, please submit any applicable fees as listed in the Planning and Zoning Fee Schedule along with your application. Depending on the type of application or request you are making, please refer to the corresponding meeting schedule for important dates and deadlines.

All submissions should be sent to Kate Whalley, Secretary of the Planning Commission and Board of Zoning Adjustments.
